WELCOME TO THE PONY & TRAP, CHEW MAGNA Josh and Holly Eggleton's award winning country pub

The brother and sister duo have earned a reputation for quality with Josh managing the kitchen, and Holly, front of house. A testament to great food and a welcoming atmosphere, The Pony & Trap has held a Michelin Star since 2011 and was ranked 3rd in the Publican Morning Advertiser's Top 50 UK Gastropubs in January 2014. The pub’s champions a “field to fork” ethos serving food sourced as locally as possible from suppliers around the Chew Valley and the South West.

It's nearly that time of year again but don't fret, as we have a menu full of festive treats to get your mouth watering this Christmas!

If you are looking to book a table of eight and above we do require a full pre-order and a small deposit which is fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to your booking. Large groups can only be booked in at 6.30pm or 9pm so make sure you give us a call to get your seat early!
